Fashion Show Concept:
WOVEN AURAS
Woven Auras is an immersive fashion and dining concept inspired by In the Mood for Love, exploring themes of time, repetition, and emotional longing. Drawing from motifs of circular movement and missed timing, the project reflects invisible connections between people through the red thread theory and Issey Miyake’s imagined Bound by Thread collection, where garments act as metaphors for relationships that persist beyond physical presence.
The concept unfolds as an imagined multisensory collaboration between Issey Miyake and Chef Deaille Tam, using fashion and food as parallel rituals of connection within a 360-degree experience that invites the audience to feel rather than observe.
For this project, I designed a physical invitation alongside an animated version, presented at the bottom of the page. All imagery, concepts, and execution were created by me using Photoshop and AI.
For this project, I designed a physical invitation that extended the narrative beyond the digital space. Created in InDesign, the invitation was printed and cut out.
The invitation was presented inside a bamboo red steamer, layered with a sage linen napkin and paired with a custom fortune cookie, transforming the act of receiving the invite into a tactile, ritual-like experience. This moment marked the audience’s first entry into the world of the project, setting the tone before the event itself unfolded.
